Plug, Sheffield

Formerly known as Zero, Plug is one of Sheffield's youngest yet most successful venues. Since its opening in 2005, the club has attracted a multitude of high profile bands and DJs as well as going on to claim some of the city's most popular club nights, such as Shuffle, Uprising and the externally organised Urban Gorilla. Capable of accommodating 1200 drunken students, Plug comprises 3 rooms: Live, Neutral and Earth, all named in the vein of the club's obvious theme of electricity. Plug is situated in the South East part of Sheffield's city centre and sits on the edge of Matilda Street.
