The Tuesday Club are holding their annual Outlook Festival launch party tonight and it would be jolly lovely to see you down there. Although you don’t know what I look like, and vice versa. We could guess?

Despite the fact that the headlining two monikers account for one man; the inimitable David Kennedy, there will be killer support from Jacques Greene and Distance. Kind of coming at this thing from both ends of the dance music spectrum, much-lauded newcomer and highly esteemed veteran respectively… bonus.

Tickets are a measly weasely £5 ADV and can be purchased from Sheffield Union Box Office, Hallam Hubs or online right here.

A pair of tickets for Outlook Festival will be given away at some during the proceedings tonight so really if you’re not there you suck at enjoying life. Strong words there so to apologise here follows a rundown of various tasty nuggets.

The pair most notably worked together on Skitz’s 2001 debut album Countryman, an indisputable masterpiece which displays the respectable face of British hip-hop and helps us all to forget the rise and rise of Chipmunk and the need for Wikipedia to have an article entitled ‘Electrogrime’. If you’ve not had a chance to hear it, I’ve uploaded ‘Dedication’, so have a goosey and get fucking loose.

Liquid d&b duo Brookes Brothers and beatboxer Reeps One finish off the line-up and it’s only £5.50 to get your arse through the door. Surely there’s no reason for you not to come!?

The critically acclaimed seven-piece Homecut head up the bill with a live set showcasing their unique brand of fusion hip-hop and, after playing a sick show at Cuba Libre last year, the Renegade Brass Band are back to tear it up like it’s the god dam future (which it is). Stoaty, Andy H and Mikey J aka the resident TTC DJs, are also lined up to contribute to the festivities and drop some tunes sure to get you bouncing around the dancefloor like a football covered in flubber. Which, if you’re Robin Williams, is always a good thing.
