Pasteman – So High
Released as a free download on his Soundcloud a couple of days ago, “So High” is a pleasant slice of 808 driven house from Notts based Pasteman. I’m always skeptical of free downloads that appear in my inbox because they’re usually by a band called ‘Orange Trees in Monrovia’ or a production duo who think they’re edgy because they bought some brightly coloured sunglasses (orange and pink, like, makes a statement yeah). I don’t think it’s possible to count the hours I’ve wasted sifting through terrible indie tracks and screechy electro tunes… That’s why I’m always overjoyed when a cracker of this calibre drops in courtesy of someone like Pasteman and restores my faith in music/humanity/the internet/the concept of sharing.
