Machine Guns and Splitting Atoms
This is 16Bit’s remix of Noisia’s ‘Machine Gun’ and it is fucking disgusting. @thetek_ put me onto this via Twitter and I think it’s left me permanently scarred. Distorted, crushed, rugged and traumatically heavy, it sounds like the Terminator scraping the inside of your skull. The original version of ‘Machine Gun’ is due to be the first single off Noisia’s forthcoming LP, Split the Atom, but I doubt it will hit the spot like this festering heap of filth. Still, the album drops April 5, so if you’ve got the industrial bug that is the time to wriggle out from under the floorboards in the abandoned warehouse you call home.
This one’s got more clout than an East End mother and it’ll leave your spine as crooked as a boxer’s nose…you’ll not be able to lift your arms higher than John McCain ever again.
