Flying Lotus and Madlib Collaborating?

Today Flying Lotus of Cosmogramma infamy posted on Twitter saying that ‘Madlib called and said we should start getting to work on our album’. Madlib, a rapper and producer most notably known for his numerous collaborations, would surely prove to be an interesting complement to the complex and artistic work of Flying Lotus. Of course, who knows if there is any truth in this or whether FL is just taking the piss out of people like me and making me look like a right fool dammit! Still, it’s a curious prospect right?

Also, here’s a video from the Warp site entitled Inside the Codex: the Art of Cosmogramma. It’s short and a little pretentious, but you may as well watch it…you’d only spend the time touching yourself and eating Doritos anyway. The artist seems to live/work in a room reminiscent of some slow wizard’s watchtower from Merlin or another terrible fantasy show starring Mackenzie Crook as a birdman. The art is pretty sick though.
