Röyksopp Album Details… Great.

The sarcasm isn’t directed towards Röyksopp as a music-producing entity, I happen to find 2001’s Melody AM a work of genius (mostly due to the inclusion of Erlend Øye’s sweet vocals). It is however directed at the decision to parade the track listing alongside the album release date. What are they hoping we’ll think thanks to this revelation? My initial thought was ‘who cares’ but I guess I could be more optimistic, really grab life by the horns or whatever and think ‘oh my lord, track 8 You Don’t Have a Clue sounds amazing, I mean that’s so going to relate to my life because I find myself saying that to idiots all the time’.

Junior is out March 23 and the first single, Happy Up Here is set for March 9. There is also a free track on the official site which, if it’s someone’s birthday tomorrow, is going to rock your world. Now all that’s left to do is pick your favourite track from Junior and see if it lives up to your 2 month-matured expectations.
