San Miguel's Hidden Depths 2008
If you thought this was going to be about finding unknown treasures at the bottom of your beer bottle then you'll be disappointed, kind of. Hidden Depths, a series of 5 one-off super secret squirrell gigs across London and Manchester, is back with no less secrets or squirrells than last year. I say anywhere but if you check out the official site there's loads of information on there (and it's got a cool wood effect with a spotlight thing on an iphone, a laptop and some headphones so I mean I can totally like relate to this idea). It's all kicking off between June 16th and September 28th with Wall of Sound taking over next Thursday.
'The full extent of a Hidden Depths line-up is only ever revealed on the night. So as well as our fantastic headliners, expect plenty of great surprises, a host of exclusive performances and maybe the odd collaboration – just to keep you guessing.' Last year saw performances from DJ Yoda, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and Warp Films with surprise appearances from Kid Koala and Jarvis Cocker. It's all rather exciting and we here at boxmusique would obviously be snapping up tickets like demented turtles if it wasn't for the fact that we're so poor we have to sneak into other people's houses to put our Happy Shopper bread in someone else's toaster.
Because you're reading boxmusique and not www.spoonfeedtheretards.com here's some links so you can go away and get all hyped up somewhere else. I've just woken up and can't be doing with all that right now.
