Red Hot Chili Peppers Having a Kit-Kat

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Despite various internet sources bearing headlines indicating that the Chilis have 'disbanded' or 'split' it seems that they are merely taking a break after what appears to have been a 10 year run of solid work. "We took a very long time to make the 'Stadium Arcadium' record (released in 2006). It was a gruelling, long haul and it followed two other very long hauls, 'Californication' (1999) and 'By the Way' (2002)." Anthony Kiedis told Rolling Stone. "So we didn't really stop until the tour ended last year. We were all emotionally and mentally zapped at the end of that run. The discussion was, 'Let's not do anything Red Hot Chili Peppers-related for a minimum of one year, and just live and breathe and eat and learn new things.'"

Maybe they can use the year to reflect on how crap they are live and come to terms with the fact that nobody wants to listen to Flea play the same bass loop a thousand times for ten minutes. In an unrelated story, I once found some fleas in my trousers...well, the doctor said they were crabs but I knew better!
