Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner has revealed that the indie foursome from [right here in] Sheffield will be starting work on a third album this summer. Speaking to BBC 6Music Turner said "We’re going to take it easy and start practising over the summer and doing new stuff. We did a little thing in January and it was almost tempting to go again ‘cos it was dead exciting but we thought, 'No, take it easier, chill out a bit and consider'.” Regarding release dates, there seems to be no plans for the record to hit shops this year, but it's likely that we'll see it in 2009.
