First Download Acts Announced
Can't believe I missed this in my earlier festivals update, but it seems that the first list of bands have been announced for this year's Download festival. Kiss, The Offspring and Lostprophets are headlining with Judas Priest, Motorhead, Him and Rise Against having also been confirmed, hmmm. I guess it's not the worst line-up ever, but they must have been a little short of available acts if Lostprophets were their best choice. At least Kiss will make up for them, after all, what black-clad goth kid won't want to rock 'n' roll all fucking night? How old is Gene Simmons now anyway? I heard he had to officially transplant his skin with leather so that he wouldn't fall apart. Jesus, I'm going to be honest, the line-up is shit. I mean, I'm all for classic rock, but these guys are getting pretty freaking old now. They're going to need wipe-clean seats backstage. Pfft, here's to some better announcements soon.
