Dubstep Awards
Dubstep exploded in 2007 and in order to commemorate its success and help the genre continue to grow in 2008, Dubstepforum.com and Hyponik Promotions have teamed up to stage the Dubstep Awards. Taking place at Herbal in Shoreditch on January 17th, some of the scene's biggest names will be performing on the night including Rusko, Benga and Kode 9. The awards themselves, which were voted on by the users of Dubstepforum, will be given out for the usual stuff, "Producer of the Year", '12" of the Year' etc and as Breakbeat says, this event is massive for dubstep - spread awareness and don't...er...do drugs, kids.
